I’m Julie, mom to big brother & Koozle & wife to Kaulin. I’m a cauliflower eating, chocolate loving, recovering OCD surviver, middle child who craves creativity, learning and loving life. I’ve found happiness in the “Essentials” of health, family and rockin’ an at home business.
I guess you could call me a modern day hippie. I believe in breathing clean air, using natural solutions, going barefoot, drinking a morning smoothie, eating your greens and wearing yoga pants all day.

Although I love all things natural and healthy, it’s all about finding your balance and still enjoying the amazing life you’ve been given. When I go to a birthday party, I am going to enjoy dessert. But will make sure I get my veggies in too. So you have no need to worry here, no judgment from me. But together we can make small health steps to create a huge difference.
Why aren’t I so strict in my natural seeking, whole life? I believe in trying to be BEST version of me I can be. Not your version, MY version. It’s different for everyone. The idea of perfection is impossible and I am here to enjoy life and make small health and life deposits daily that over time create huge results. I’m not perfect 100% of the time. And I don’t want to pretend to be. Once I finally embodied this ideal of me, I felt a great release. I now don’t beating myself up for having a treat every now and again and stopped pretending to like kale.
Serious, who really like that stuff? Tell the truth…
I don’t have to restrict myself, I just need to listen to my body and be the best I can.

That is why I call myself a “natural (ish)” momma. I will always reach for a natural solution FIRST! ALWAYS. But I believe in using modern day conveniences and medicine when necessary. It’s about finding balance in our modern world and becoming a “modern day hippie.”
